This film is about Japanese children who don't conform to the standardized educational structure in Japan and the people creating a more inclusive society for them to grow up in.

Since its release, this video has been used by families and educators supporting 不登校 (futoko) children, helping raise awareness and advance public discussion around the recognition of フリースクール (free school) and alternative education in Japan.
